Breakfast...Breakfast on cute packed nasi lemak with hot tea at MyKitchen restaurant located just at the next block from Novotel hotel.
"...makanan sini halal?..."
kakak senyum-senyum...then she said..."..iyah...sini orang muslim juga..."
Hee...jangan marah ye kakak...nak confirm jee...heheh...
Daily needs around the corner...After breakfast, we had a stroll along the block. It is so convenient staying in this hotel as the 1Borneo hypermall is located just next door, in the very same building. From the hotel lobby, there is an attached door leading to the hypermall. It opens at 10am.
Just after exited through the hotel lobby via the attached door to the mall, you can easily locate Guardian pharmacy for your daily needs. CIMB bank and Watson are also located closer to the attached door. Besides the room service available from the hotel, many other food outlets available in the mall as the alternatives...Secret Recipe...Dome...Kenny Rogers...and many many more...just take your pick.
Friday prayer...Reserved a cab to the Floating Mosque from the hotel at MYR15 one way trip. Zohor prayer here is at 12.14pm. Hubby took off at 11.30am, taking into account the traffic flow to be in time for the calling for prayers (azan) and the sermon (khutbah).

"..aa...mari kak, mari...kakak mau ke mana?"
"...23..."
"...sorang utk tiga2 pulau?"
"...utk saorang, satu pulau. kakak mau ke mana?"
"...satu pulau??..oo, saya mau ke manukan."
"..ok, semua 60.40...23 saorang campur 7.20 tax saorang..."
The price had increased since i last came here three years ago. I remembered that it used to be at MYR10 per pax, if am not mistaken, for all of the three islands (Manukan, Sapi, Mamutik)...hmm...how fast the time flies huh?...
To Pulau Gaya, MYR147 per pax...phew!!...On the island sit Bunga Raya Island Resort, one of the destination i wish to have lunch at based on my plan...but gotta take a rain check on this as it was too pricey just to "boat" there...
We headed on to Manukan Island...

Return to Jesselton Point ferry terminal...we ordered chilled carrot juice, iced milo and some mixed fruits to steer away the thirst...you can witnessed how thirsty we were that we had totally forgotten to shoot the pix on it!...huh!
